In the last decade, availability and use of government information and publications on the so-called information superhighway have grown tremendously. Although online and compact disc sources were extensively cited in the previous edition of this book, Morehead's new work endeavors to bridge the Internet gap while updating the sources that are conveyed in other nonprint mediums. The purpose of the book remains the same-to provide an account of the general and specialized sources in print and nonprint formats that comprise the bibliographic and textual structure of federal government information.
